Welcome
We are Albion locals lucky enough to call the Oak Show home. We live an ample distance from the Oak Show event site, providing privacy for guests and events.
Guests of the Oak Show event space can expect peaceful forest, ridge top views, meadows, plentiful open space, and a full kitchen and bar. A fire ring is provided during the rainy season. No fires are permitted during the dry season for the safety of everyone.

“What an amazing location for our wedding. Love it!”
— Antoine
About the Property
Situated atop Albion ridge, the Oak Show’s redwood ringed meadow delivers striking views of Railroad Gulch and Table Mountain. The gulch’s northwest vista provides glimpses of the fog wispily rolling in from the coast, a golden hour of glowing sun rays on the distant ridge top, and the sunset colors lighting up the sky. The Oak Show’s unique transitional pigmy forest landscape affords beautiful redwoods alongside the short bushy trees and plants of the pigmy forest and hard clay soils. With wild rhododendrons and manzanita’s blossoming in the spring, abundant huckleberries ripening in the summer and wild mushrooms popping up in the fall and winter, there is always something to see at the Oak Show.
The Oak Show earned its name many years ago as lumber company property, which was heavily logged, leaving mostly tan oaks behind. Locals made firewood from these trees and often gathered here for large bonfires and parties. Thus it became quite a “show.”
